Avaraachan & Sons (2026)

Avaraachan & Sons: Synopsis

Avaraachan & Sons (original title: അവറാച്ചൻ & Sons) is a Malayalam family drama built around one household. At its centre is Avaraachan, played by Biju Menon. The story looks at his bond with his children and at the wider web of relatives, neighbours and community ties that shape the way each of them lives.

The film is less about one big incident and more about the everyday pull of family. It explores how a father and the people who grow up around him are connected, and how social expectations outside the home affect what happens inside it. Through a range of characters, including Jaison, Ani, Bincy, Jaimon, Keerthi and Elliyama, the story follows how relationships hold together, shift and sometimes strain over time.

With a runtime of about two and a half hours, the film gives its large ensemble room to develop. Viewers can expect a story rooted in domestic life, generational ties and the small social details that Malayalam family dramas often focus on. Plot details beyond this premise are left for viewers to discover in the film itself.
