Don’t Trouble the Trouble: Synopsis (No Spoilers)
Suri makes his living as a magician, but one of his tricks goes very wrong. During a spell, a young girl disappears, and Suri suddenly faces a problem no stage act has prepared him for. The girl is not who she seems. She is a genie, a being who can grant wishes, and her vanishing sets her loose in the city, where she wanders and sees everything for the first time.
Her curiosity is harmless enough, but her temper is not. When something angers her, she uses her powers, and the results are hard to contain. That leaves Suri, a man who works with illusions, dealing with magic that is real and has consequences he cannot simply undo.
Written and directed by Shashank Yeleti, Don’t Trouble the Trouble (original Telugu title: డోంట్ ట్రబుల్ ద ట్రబుల్) combines fantasy, drama and action around this premise.
