Lust Stories 3: Synopsis
Lust Stories 3 brings together four separate short films, each from a different filmmaker, under one shared theme: desire. The stories look at love, lust, relationships and the wants people keep hidden. They follow different characters in different settings, so each segment can take its own view of how closeness and craving show up in everyday lives.
The ensemble fills these stories with a wide range of characters. Among them are Padma (Radhika Apte), Shonali Ghosh (Konkona Sen Sharma), Hemant (Vijay Varma), Debendu (Abhishek Banerjee), Varun Apte (Ali Fazal), Sailee Vaidya (Radhikka Madan), Saira (Aditi Rao Hydari) and Badru, also called Hero Badru (Siddharth). Gurfateh Pirzada plays Karan / Arjun, and Sana Thampi appears as Lisa.
The film is mainly in Hindi, with English, Malayalam and Marathi also spoken. That mix hints at characters from varied backgrounds across India. Like the earlier instalments, the format lets each director work in a compact space while the shared theme ties the four parts together.
