Nayyi Navelli Synopsis: What Is the Story About?
Set in Meerut, Nayyi Navelli centres on a family whose home is anything but peaceful. Arguments, tension and everyday chaos seem to be part of the furniture until a newly married bride joins the household. Almost as soon as she arrives, things change. The bickering fades, the mood lifts and the once-unruly home starts to look like a model of family harmony.
Not everyone is convinced the transformation is natural. Her devar, the younger brother-in-law, begins to suspect that the new bhabhi is a little too perfect. As his doubts grow, he becomes sure she is hiding something supernatural: in his eyes, she is a daayan, a witch. The film’s cheeky tagline, “Bhabhi Daayan Hai!”, sums up his suspicion.
What follows is a Hindi adventure that mixes fantasy, comedy and family drama. The story asks whether he has uncovered a real secret or whether his imagination has run wild. Is the bride truly what she seems? The film leaves that question for audiences to discover in theatres.
