Aleena Abraham never planned on a career in uniform. When she loses her husband, she joins the police force under a compassionate appointment, a job offered to the family of the deceased. It is meant to be a way to rebuild a steady, quiet life.
That calm does not last. Aleena finds herself inside a tense situation where courage and quick thinking matter as much as rules. Each step forces her to question her own ideas about justice, who deserves her loyalty, and what kind of person she is becoming.
The Malayalam title, പ്രഥമ ദൃഷ്ട്യാ കുറ്റക്കാർ, roughly means “guilty at first sight” or “prima facie guilty.” It hints at the film’s interest in how quickly people are judged and how far first impressions can be from the truth.
