Ramba Oorvasi Menaka Synopsis (No Spoilers)
What if an ordinary man refused to give up on an impossible dream for fifteen whole years? That is the playful idea behind Ramba Oorvasi Menaka (Telugu: రంభ ఊర్వశి మేనక), a 2026 Telugu comedy-drama.
Allari Naresh plays Suri Babu, better known as Suri. He owns a magical book and believes it can bring the three legendary celestial dancers, Rambha, Oorvasi and Menaka, down from the heavens to earth. His years of attempts run into a powerful obstacle in the skies. Lord Indra, played by Vennela Kishore, has no plans to let the apsaras leave his realm and keeps getting in Suri’s way.
The film draws on characters from Indian mythology and drops them into a light-hearted earthly setting. The result is a battle of patience between a stubborn mortal and a heavenly ruler. Surbhi, Naresh, Srinivasa Reddy and Hari Teja round out the colourful cast of characters around Suri.
