Synopsis: What Is How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies About?

M is a young man whose plans for the future have stalled and whose wallet is close to empty. When his grandmother, Amah, becomes seriously ill, he sees a chance to change his luck. If he becomes the grandchild who stays by her side, he might also be the one she remembers when her estate is divided. So M moves in and takes on the everyday work of looking after her.

What starts as a calculated plan gradually becomes something more complicated. Spending day after day with Amah brings M closer to the wider family, and their relationships, old expectations and unspoken feelings come to the surface. Through this unlikely caregiver arrangement between a grandson and his grandmother, M begins to see her life and his own in a new light.

The film is a gentle, character-driven drama about family ties, caregiving and the distance between generations. It is also a coming-of-age story told with warmth, and its heartfelt moments have earned it a reputation as a tearjerker.
