Jawan Plot: What the Film Is About (No Spoilers)

At the centre of Jawan is Vikram Rathore, played by Shah Rukh Khan, a man in charge of a prison who carries two heavy burdens: a grudge rooted in his own history and a vow he made long ago that he still intends to honour.

That combination pushes him into a daring plan. Instead of simply guarding the inmates in his facility, he enlists them as allies. Together they carry out a string of bold, headline-grabbing crimes. These are not random acts of chaos. Each one is designed to drag hidden corruption and injustice into public view, forcing people in power to answer for what they have done.

For Vikram, the mission is also personal. Every move brings him closer to settling an old score, and the path he takes eventually leads to a reunion he never saw coming. Mixing vigilante action with political edge and strong emotion, Jawan is as much about the past catching up with its hero as it is about the spectacle of the heists themselves.
