Street Fighter (2026): plot, cast led by Andrew Koji and Noah Centineo, review buzz, and where to watch in the Philippines. Opened in PH cinemas Oct 14.

Street Fighter (2026) Plot: Synopsis Without Spoilers

The year is 1993. Ryu and Ken Masters once fought side by side, but they have since gone their separate ways. Their split pauses when Chun-Li, a fighter with her own agenda, tracks them down. She wants both of them in the next World Warrior Tournament, a no-holds-barred competition that gathers some of the toughest combatants on the planet.

The tournament is about more than trophies or bragging rights. A dangerous scheme is unfolding behind it, and Ryu and Ken soon realise the stakes reach far beyond the ring. The pressure tests their fractured friendship and drags old wounds back to the surface. As rivals such as Cammy, Guile, Dhalsim, Zangief and Balrog enter the picture, the shadow of M. Bison looms over the competition.

The film blends hand-to-hand martial arts action with fantasy-tinged powers. It leans into the 1990s setting that made the original Capcom games an arcade phenomenon. The tagline sums up the mood: “Ready. Set. Fight.”
