Daisy Edgar-Jones is an English actress, born on 24 May 1998 in Islington, London. Her television credits include the British series Cold Feet, Silent Witness, War of the Worlds and Gentleman Jack. She is best known for playing Marianne Sheridan in the 2020 series Normal People, and she later portrayed Brenda Lafferty in Under the Banner of Heaven (2022).
On the big screen, she played Kya Clark in Where the Crawdads Sing (2022), Noa in Fresh (2022) and Kate in Twisters (2024). Her film work continued with On Swift Horses (2025), in which she plays Muriel, and Sense and Sensibility (2026), in the role of Elinor Dashwood. Upcoming projects include A Place in Hell, scheduled for 23 April 2027, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, set for 11 November 2027.
