David Leitch is an American director, born on 16 November 1975 in Kohler, Wisconsin. Known primarily for directing, he has 31 credits, including Atomic Blonde (2017), Deadpool 2 (2018), Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019) and Bullet Train (2022). He also appeared in some of the films he directed, playing the Ground Chuck Mutant in Deadpool 2 and Jeff Zufelt in Bullet Train.

His acting credits include V for Vendetta (2006), The Bourne Legacy (2012) and Escape Plan (2013), as well as uncredited roles in Ocean’s Eleven (2001) and The Matrix Reloaded (2003). In 2008 he received the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture.
