Clayface Plot Summary (No Spoilers)
Matt Hagen grew up on the streets of Gotham and fought his way to the top of Hollywood as a leading man. His career and his looks are destroyed when a local crime boss leaves him badly disfigured. With his support around him gone and his future in ruins, Matt turns to an experimental, cutting-edge treatment.
The procedure appears to work, restoring the face he lost. But the science behind it comes at a cost no one anticipated. As strange changes take hold, Matt’s sense of what is real begins to slip, and his grief and anger harden into a single goal: revenge against those who wronged him.
Rooted in body horror and the unsettling idea of a man whose very form becomes unstable, Clayface follows a performer who once lived on his image and must now confront what lies beneath it. The film runs 109 minutes and carries the tagline “Look fear in the face.”
