Plot Summary: A New Case for the Pretty Cure Detectives
Young detective Anna Akechi and her fellow Pretty Cure have a puzzling case on their hands. Prized objects are turning up stamped with an X, and once they are marked, they simply stop working. All signs point to the Damedame, a group of strange creatures who have been stirring up trouble.
The investigation changes direction when a fairy called Rain comes to the team with an urgent request: keep a girl named Karin safe from the Damedame. Rain leads the detectives to Karin’s home, a garden so beautiful it seems to belong in a dream. There they meet Karin and Alan, the fairy who acts as her guardian.
The longer Anna and her friends spend with their new companion, the more they suspect the garden is hiding something. Then the Damedame turn up in the garden as well. That leaves two questions for the detectives to solve: what exactly are these creatures, and what is the garden concealing?
