A Shop for Killers (2024)

Plot Summary: What Is A Shop for Killers About?

Jeong Ji-an lost her parents as a child. She was raised by her uncle, Jeong Jin-man, a reserved man who earns his living running an online shopping mall. Their life together seems ordinary, if a little guarded. That changes when Jin-man dies suddenly and under unclear circumstances.

With her only family gone, Ji-an begins to question what she thought she knew about the man who raised her. His business and his past appear to hold secrets he never shared. The tagline sums up the central tension: his hidden past, her deadly inheritance.

Ji-an soon realises that what Jin-man left behind comes with real danger. She must work out who her uncle truly was, and she has to do it quickly if she wants to stay safe.

The Korean drama, originally titled 킬러들의 쇼핑몰, combines a family story about grief and trust with a tense mystery. It also draws on themes of hacking, cybersecurity and the dark web.
