Love in the Clouds Plot Summary: What Is the Series About?
Love in the Clouds (original title: 入青云) is a Chinese xianxia romance set in the Hexu Six Realms. Every year, the Qingyun Conference draws the realms’ strongest fighters, and for seven straight years one name has stood above the rest: Ming Yi, a formidable and famously aloof warrior goddess.
That streak ends when Ji Bozai steps into the arena. He is a fighter from the Jixing Abyss who once lived as a convict. His win over Ming Yi turns him into the realm’s newest sensation almost overnight.
Ming Yi does not simply accept the loss. She hides who she really is and takes on a new role as a dancer, a cover that lets her move close to the man who beat her. Ji Bozai has his own reasons for keeping parts of himself out of view. Both are wearing masks, and both carry secrets and old wounds. The story builds on that tension, mixing deception, curiosity and a growing attraction with a shared struggle for justice and fairness.
