Speed and Love: plot summary
Speed and Love (original title: 双轨) is a Chinese drama about two people whose shared childhood was torn apart. When her parents divorce, Jiang Mu’s family splits in two, and the adopted brother she grew up with, Jin Zhao, drifts out of her life.
Years later, Jiang Mu goes looking for him and finds him in Thailand. The boy she remembers is gone. Jin Zhao has become guarded and tough, and the life he leads there is a risky one. The distance between them is about more than miles. Time, silence and the fallout from a broken home have built a wall that neither finds easy to cross.
Jiang Mu refuses to give up on him. Her steady affection becomes the starting point for a hard road back toward each other. Both have wounds to face and old bonds to repair. The series blends emotional family drama with romance and action, and it explores whether people can rebuild trust and find redemption.
